National Treaties Summit

The National Treaties Summit has been postponed to 16-18 April, 2021 due to COVID-19. Please keep checking the website for our series of FREE treaty webinar events for 2020.

The NNTC, Australians for Native Title and Reconciliation (ANTaR) and Melbourne Law School are hosting the three-day National Treaties Summit as a landmark gathering of hundreds of First Nations leaders, community members, academics, politicians, international speakers and supporters to engage in a dialogue of Treaty and agreement-making.

Held at University of Melbourne, the Summit will be a chance to share and compare experiences from different jurisdictions, to explore international and historical context and to contribute to the momentum of Treaty happening across the continent.

The Summit will involve keynote speeches, panel discussions and hopefully culminate in a communique or agreed principles to inform future agreement-making processes.
