Finance Officer

An exciting opportunity is available to bring your financial expertise to a purpose-driven organisation working at the national level in support of Traditional Owner organisations.

The National Native Title Council (NNTC) is the peak body for native title organisations across Australia. As a not-for-profit organisation, we provide a united national voice on matters of significance to the native title sector and advocate for the rights and interests of Traditional Owners.

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our small operations team. This role plays a key part in supporting the effective financial management of the organisation, working across budgeting, reporting, compliance, and financial systems.

You will bring strong organisational and accountancy skills, the ability to manage day-to-day financial operations with accuracy and efficiency and the ability to work independently. You will hold a degree in commerce/accounting and have minimum 3 years’ experience working as a finance officer.

We offer a competitive salary package and flexible work locations: the role can be based in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney or Canberra.
