South Australia – Murray Bridge

13th – 16th October.  This PBC Director Training Workshop will be held in Murray Bridge, SA but is open to any PBCs who can attend.

Full workshop information will be provided once registration has been received.

Navigating Native Title leadership comes with unique challenges, balancing expectations from other First Nations Peoples, Government, and the wider community. At the National Native Title Council (NNTC), we’re committed to supporting PBC Directors and Leaders by building their capabilities through engaging, targeted training programs.

Delivered by industry experts in culturally safe and respectful environment, our training is designed to meet the specific needs of your PBC and community. You’ll work closely with the NNTC’s Training Manager to customise regional sessions that focus on practical skills and knowledge in areas such as:

  • Governance and Director Duties

  • United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP)

  • Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC)

  • Strategic Planning

  • Financial Management

  • Indigenous Land Use Agreements (ILUAs)

  • Legal Obligations

This workshop is FREE to attend. The NNTC will cover full workshop costs (including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea) and accommodation. Participants or their representative organisation are required to organise flights and cover all other out-of-pocket expenses.
