“Treaty’s Global Context: towards Treaty in the Northern Territory” will feature NT Treaty Commissioner Tony McAvoy, Aotearoa Foreign Affairs Minister Nanaia Mahuta, Justice Joe Williams (New Zealand Supreme Court) and Professor John Borrows (University of Victoria Faculty of Law, British Columbia) who will discuss the global treaty movement and its importance for Indigenous peoples around the world.
