The National Native Title Council advises its members that it has changed its independent auditor.

The reason for the change is that Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu resigned as the company’s independent auditor.

As required under the section 327(C) of the Corporations Act, the Board has filled the vacancy in the office of auditor by appointing Ms Elna Dry as independent auditor. Ms Dry has agreed to the appointment, and plans are well under way for the 2022 audit to be completed well before the reporting deadline. ASIC has consented to these arrangements.

The appointment of Ms Dry as the National Native Title Council’s independent auditor will expire at the 2022 AGM. At that time, members will be invited to vote on the permanent appointment of Ms Dry as the company’s independent auditors.”
