National Treaties Summit: postponed

Due to the escalating impact of the Covid-19 virus, the organising partners of the National Treaties Summit have decided to postpone the Summit scheduled for 16-18 April 2020 in Melbourne.

We’re disappointed we can’t go ahead as planned, but take this decision out of concern for the health and wellbeing of delegates, speakers, staff and volunteers participating in the Summit.

We have been monitoring the advice of government and public health officials on the spread of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) and anticipate that increased public health measures will begin to have a greater impact on travel arrangements and public gatherings.

We still see it as vital that the Summit go ahead and will be working hard to determine the rescheduled dates for the National Treaties Summit so that these important discussions on Treaties and agreement-making can be had.

We will be advising the new dates as soon as possible.

Please stay tuned into our Facebook Page and Website for updates. You can also contact campaigns@antar.org.au if you have any questions.

Thank you for your support so far. We look forward to producing what is planned to be a landmark gathering at the National Treaties Summit to progress the discussion of our Unfinished Business.
